Major small post: I'm officially a NetBSD developer now!

Though I still need to update the www to make this announced on netbsd.org

lo and behold

The careful reader won't have noticed that I went through maybe 30 versions of this website and its design at this point.

Yet another redesign of the website happened, before I'm trying to transition to something which looks more like what I can do, since last year it occured to me that telling others how important websites are in their looks as a virtual representation of oneself but not doing anything about my own is just bad.

The previous version was done in Guile (Haunt, by David Thompson). As much as I dislike working with Guile when it throws errors, this was solid and good for some time.

I am annoyed by the format of this website. I won't find the time to fix this very soon, but I hope to rewrite it in an easier format soon which requires less lines of codes to generate the pages. Until then, the pages are more or less frozen. For one, because I don't have the time and patience to update them for myself, and furthermore because I have too much other construction sites. So, I'm still alive, infotropique OS/core and plant got some serious reconsideration over the last months (tracking Guix won't work out for a long list of reasons), working on a new codebase every now and then + writing the principals down which I'd like to implement in this OS.

crashed server

The server previously running infotropique.org, n0.is, and everything else crashed this week. I'm currently recovering it, but it will take a while. While I'm at it I'm restructuring it. I won't run searx and GNUsocial anymore. This website you are reading right now (the blog section) will move to a new subdomain, and more.

Out with the old...

... in with the new.

Looking back at 2017, what have I achieved? This post is subject to change and incomplete. A follow-up post will give a short preview on my 2018 (and beyond) plans.

I'll try an update of what I've been up to. I'll probably miss about 50% of it anyway.

Looks like I haven't left yet.

If it seems like I am idle, this is what I've been up to:

Long time no update.

I'm busy with documentation about pragmatique currently, and in the process of writing lots of texts I've written a page for patreon.
